MySpace recently launched Profile 2.0! We're excited to explore all the new opportunities for making this new generation of profiles just as fun and unique as our classic layouts. For those of you who prefer not to make the switch, don't worry — all of the classic 1.0 layouts will still be available.

Everyday we'll be adding new Profile 2.0 themes, so be sure to check back often! We're also converting old layouts into 2.0 compatible themes, so please be patient as we make these available to you.

Before You Make The Switch & Helpful FAQ

Before you upgrade your MySpace profile to Profile 2.0, there are a few things you should know. Tom over at MySpace has posted some great blog posts that outine everything from making the switch, reverting back to 1.0 if you change your mind, all the Profile 2.0 features, how to work with modules, how to make customizations, etc. So go read his posts now, and then come back and grab a new Profile 2.0 theme!

How to apply a MySpace Profile 2.0 theme to your profile

After you have upgraded to Profile 2.0, follow these simple steps to apply one of our 2.0 themes:

Login to MySpace and select Profile » Customize Profile
Make sure that the Control Panel is visible. (If it isn't, expand it by clicking on the Control Panel + sign in the upper right of your screen.)
Click on Appearance » Select Theme » No Theme (This one's important!)
Select CSS to view the custom CSS text box. Delete any code that might be there and then paste the Profile 2.0 code that you copied from MySpaceOrYours.net.
Click on the Preview button in the upper left corner.
Click on the Publish button in theupper right corner.
Select Profile and you're done!
