Many people turn to sex, drugs, alcohol, or entertainment to fill what their souls desire. Everyone is looking for that something that gives us a sense of purpose and happiness. People have tried everything to make their life worth living...but it's strange to see how they'll reach out for everything this world has to offer EXCEPT God...even when He's truly the only One who can satisfy their hunger in the first place! This is a video I put together for the sake of my King using a song by Delirious called "Majesty" Here I Am. It's something that comes with the job of being a disciple of Christ. You see, when you have an intimate relationship with the God who made you for His purpose, you are compelled to share His goodness with others! It's all about His love! "All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen." - Jude 1:25 "I believe in Christianity as I believe that the Sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else." - C.S. I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent." - Luke 5:31-32 Peter replied, "Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." - Acts 2:38 So Jesus told them this story: "If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them gets lost, what will he do? Won't he leave the ninety-nine others in the wilderness and go to search for the one that is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he will joyfully carry it home on his shoulders. When he arrives, he will call together his friends and neighbors, saying, 'Rejoice with me because I have found my lost sheep.' In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who REPENTS and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven't strayed away!" -Luke 15:3-7 Friends, I stress the fact of repentance simply because God has made it clear in His Word! Unless you repent of your sins (meaning you turn away from your sins and turn to God - having a sincere hatred for things that God hates and a passionate love for the things God loves.) Unless you do that, then it would be as if Jesus Christ died invain for you! Forgiveness doesn't come unless you turn from your sin and put your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation! What...you think you can fool God? Do you think you can lip-sing your Christianity and not live it out? The Apostle Paul said far from it! Romans 10:9 says, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe IN YOUR HEART that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Why do you think God's Word stresses the "IN YOUR HEART" and not the "IN YOUR HEAD"? Simply because if you think you are going to talk about Jesus and claim Him as your Lord and Savior yet still live your life anyway you want simply because "Jesus died for you so you're okay"...then you are a fool! "The chief danger of the 20th century will be religion without the Holy Spirit, Christianity without Christ, forgiveness without repentance, salvation without regeneration, politics without God, and heaven without hell." - William Booth All of you need to study the Word of God daily - morning and night! And always OBEY what you read! Always! If you do, then you can't go wrong, and God will never let you down! It is only then you will find what you are passionately looking for.
